heh... alot of movies based on video games coming out if there bad there goes that genre less competition to let the true games shine, If they make it big so many more games based on movies and t.v. shows and the definition of the really great games will fade away as if they never existed due the number of games chosen over them becuase of the shows pregained popularity from its origins will rule over great games just becuase those same t.v. addicts who have never picked up a controller finally pick up a controller but just becuase its in that name.
Sure i know this is what started a few games, but the bulk is never really made many sequals, know why?THE GAME SUCKED!!!! thats why.

Yeah, unfortunately a fair slice of the game market is devoted to people who just want things that they already know - the familiar tried and tested stuff.
On the other hand, there will always be indie game makers who create some truly original wierd and wonderful things - like the guy who made Spewer and Time Fcuk.

Im not giving a whole lot of critisism to unoriginality, just how poor some games are, and how people can eat that stuff up...
Meanwhile a bunch of truely great games have 1 to 0 sequals.
Then again, I may have gotten some of what you said wrong...
